Job Advert - Senior Web .NET Developer
About you
- You are a software developer who can crack just about any problem, including the ones your colleagues can’t. You love creating innovative code.
- You are fast, slick, and inspired by the chance to “make a dent in the universe”. You do what it takes to get the end result, you’re not a plodder.
- You’ve reached that stage where you can out-code anyone, and now you want to start passing it on.
- You might be a UX expert, able to make things look and work better than anyone else. Or you might be a back-end genius, who can make any engine go faster. We can use both!
- You want to work on enterprise-level software that’s used by thousands of users to get their jobs done, but you also want to create software that humans love to use.
If you fit this description, then we’re interested in you. To find out if you’re interested in us, read on…
About us
We are a software development company based in Bournemouth. We specialise in Marketing Automation and Work Management solutions. The software we create makes companies more productive – 15,000% more productive in the case of one client [Cisco]. We help companies transform the way they collaborate across traditional boundaries, by creating truly virtual organisations. If we achieve our ambitions, we could literally transform the way the world works. However, for this to happen, we need to accelerate the commercialisation of our software, and for that we need a Senior Web .NET Developer to join our expanding development team.
What we need
We need someone who leads by example and has a keen interest in working with some of the latest technologies. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years commercial software development experience with:
- A recognised client-side JavaScript framework (e.g. Vue, Angular, React)
- C# (MVC / WebAPI)
The following would also be a significant advantage:
- TypeScript
- EF / LINQ
- .NET Core (2 / 3)
- SASS
- T-SQL
- Azure
We also need someone with the following personal qualities:
- Proven ability to make things happen and meet commitments.
- Willingness to dive in and get to the bottom of a problem; egos and blamers need not apply
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design & development and common design patterns
- Experience working in an Agile development team
- A positive 'can do' attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills
- An innate desire to learn and develop as technologies change and the needs of the business evolve – you don't wait to go on a course in order to find out something new
- Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail
- Ability to guide and mentor other team members
- Strong problem solving and team working skills
This is an opportunity for a skilled professional to join an excellent team in a great environment to improve themselves as a developer and person.
As to package: it’s top dollar (for Bournemouth, not San Francisco!). Tell us what you’re worth, and if we agree, we’ll pay. We’ll take into account your unique combination of talent, experience and chemistry. If you’re big on talent, but light on experience, we’ll pay you slightly less, but give you loads of development opportunities. If you’re talented and experienced, we’ll pay more, but we’ll expect more in return.
Is this the opportunity you‘re looking for? Take our assessment to start your application!
ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE FREE TO WORK IN THE UK FREE FROM THE RESTRICTIONS OF VISA`S AND WORK PERMITS.
